Baby Boomers, born between 1946-1964, are turning 65 years old at unprecedented rates. According to a 2011 AARP study, for the next 18 years, approximately 76 million boomers will turn 65 at a rate of about 8,000 a day! But Boomers are also likely to be the healthiest generation to ever reach retirement age.  So most Boomers do not see themselves as seniors, nor do they feel particularly comfortable with being labeled senior citizens.  The AARP Study goes on to say, “As this unique cohort grows older, it will likely transform the institutions of aging — just as it has done to other aspects of American life. Will boomers redefine this life stage, or will it redefine them?”

We at The Henne Financial Group recognize the force behind these powerful demographics and psychographics.   It became clear from interactions with our clients, our friends and families that we need to serve our aging clients in a more comprehensive manner.  Our focus at The Henne Financial Group has always been to deliver personal and specialized financial management solutions for the special needs and situations of clients throughout their lifetimes.  We reached the conclusion, due to some of our own experiences with the aging process; the needs of our clients go well beyond financial management solutions.  There are psychological, legal, tax and medical challenges that we all face as we reach our mid-50’s and beyond.

At THFG we pride ourselves in the trust our clients have bestowed on us for 15 years.   Our trusted advisor position affords us the opportunity to offer clients and their families’ assistance through our proven network of multi-discipline professionals.  These professionals are specially trained in assisting clients with strategies for coping with the challenging and sometimes painful and confusing transitions in their lives.  As William Bridges states in his 2004 national bestseller book, Transitions, successful progression through these transition periods requires us to let go of the past before we can move on into the future.  Letting go of our tried and true beliefs and behaviors is certainly no easy task tackling on one’s own.

THFG is pleased to offer our clients this new suite of services we call our Transitions Program.  Our Program’s Value Proposition is:

We understand the difficult transitions defined by the aging process our 50-65 year old business owners, professionals and highly paid sales consultants must navigate. Through our unmatched communication and coordinated team-based program, we provide mental, legal, physical and financial solutions to help provide comfort in your decisions for the future.
